At Lannavaara Lodge you will find an accommodation in private and peaceful setting. We are the small family-owned hotel that offers you a cozy and quality accommodation in form of an apartmenthotel. It is the former Samicschool, situated in the central Lannavaara, which has been converted into a lodge in the small scale. When you stay with us you have the option of self-catering. You will find the village grocerystore just nearby. Would you prefer to eat at a restaurant, you will find one within walking distance. Here at Lannavaara Lodge we want you to be able to experience trancuility and get personal service.

Together with you we arrange a program for your stay here. Naturally, you are also welcome to just enjoy our nature.

DO SOMETHING UNIQUE DURING YOUR STAY IN LANNAVAARA

Besides our beautiful nature here in Lannavaara, you have the opportunity to cut your own stone and get it mounted by the goldsmith.

Perhaps you want to design your own jewelry or join the goldsmiths in their metal workshop and make a jewelry by yourself. In Lannavaara you can see and learn about many gems and see how a goldsmith work.

LANNAVAARA VILLAGE

One and a half hour northeast of Kiruna you will find Lannavaara, a village with about 130 inhabitants. Here you find an active association life and a good community. The village is located in an area surrounded by pure nature and the Laino River that flows past. During wintertime the dark night sky is only enlightened by the stars and the northern light. In the summer you can enjoy the midnight sun.

Lannavaara is over 100 years old and formerly the people in the village cultivated barley at the slope of Lannavaara mountain. The village church and the monastery are well worth a visit during your stay.
